I stopped playing in May '08. I gave away all my CD Keys and accounts. I had like six different hammerdins. X_X All fully armored with enigma and stuff, it was awesome. Could only run like one or two bots at a time though... *Sigh*

I'd say you're probably in the minority. The only thing I ever used was a maphack and I don't see how this adversely affects anyone else. All it does is remove some of the time wasting map exploring and make the "grind" a bit faster.

Yeah i was there a day or two ago, looking for maphack. Mousepads was apparently undetectable in 1.11b and since 1.12 only added the no cd functionality (to my knowledge) it should remain undetectable but it dosent work because the game version has changed I dont know if mousepad will update it or not.

No matter, im only making 1 character, the days of my 8 85+ chars are gone, ill save that kind of effort for diablo III I just wanna beat on some newbs like the old days.

Mousepad won't be updating it (and he hasn't for awhile, others have), but there are working MH's out there.

I believe one of the things changed in 1.12 is the CD check, so you should be able to go without the CD without needing a hack.

Trident linked a site, although I don't know how reputable it is. They are out there though. There's actually a "hack" that allows you to play 1.11 on bnet still, and use all the older hacks and whatever they had (not sure, I didn't play 1.11b).

ladder has some ladder-only runewords, unique items and cube formulas, and there's a toplist that shows highest level characters. it resets every few years, all the characters currently on ladder gets moved to nonladder and a new season starts.

you don't need to max, if you have good gear, you can do baal at level high 80s, but there are so many baal games you don't need to run yourself usually. but if you do want to, then yes, 2 sets of keys are required (exp + classic)

Tristram runs till level 15 --> Tomb runs till level 25 --> Normal baal ruls till 40 --> Nightmare baal runs till 70 --> ?? Hell baal runs i guess

Ive gone from level 1-66 in 3 days by doing this

this is the really nice but rush to the hell baal is very hard for solo without nice gears and if u build the wrong char means waste lots of time
So i just order the power lving service when i want to build new chars
