CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW "AMEX BLUE" PRICE MATCH WORKS?

Hi guys, Im buying a digital camera within the next few days. My dad has a AMEX BLUE card, and I always hear you guys in the HOT DEALS forums saying "price match with amex blue". So how does this work? I would like to pay as little as possible.

HELP ME!

Thanx in advance guys.

easy.

get the store reciept.
get a printout of the ad that has it for less
call the BVG desk, open a claim for the difference
send in paperework
recieve check in 3 weeks

The way I understand it:

1) Buy the item anywhere you like
2) Sometime in the next 60 days, if you find it cheaper anywhere, call them & pricematch it to the new price
3) The difference is credited to your account.

There are caveats. Call AMex for the details.

for example, the store isn't supposed to have its own price match policy. Also, there may be restrictions concerning ON-LiNE purchases.

I just did my first one

Called the 1-800
She asked my name/number/etc
Asked what I bought (XP 1800)
The price (178)
The store (newegg)
The invoice total (581)
The new price (141)
She said "I just got one of these also, good deal"
Gave me my claim # and the info to mail it in (fax wasn't working and shouldnt risk sending it in by fax at the moment)

Pretty easy.
