I was wondering if one of you Q6600 owners that has the Batman Arkham Asylum demo could run a test for me? I would like to see what kind of numbers you get running physx on your cpu. I know "high" physx is way too demanding so the "normal" physx setting is what I am interested in. I get low teens with a high of 22fps on my E8500 so I was just curious what the Q6600 could do. I know this sounds silly but there is somebody with a Q6600 that claims to run the game smoothly with normal physx and even hit 60fps at times. I am also personally curious plus if anybody ever asks in the future I could tell them what to expect.
It would only take a few minutes of your time to fire up the demo with fraps on and check out the framerate during the first few minutes which contains some fighting. ATI owners just need to select normal physx from the game launcher. of course if you have an Nvidia card you need to disable gpu acceleration in the Nvidia cp first.
