Can somebody PLEASE explain why MS has the worst anti-spam filter in existence?

I have hotmail. Worst thing I ever did, but it's too late now. For DAYS AND DAYS I've been receiving the same damn junk email from "DietMaxx" - always from a different email address. My GOD, I wish I build my own spam filter into their software. Here's an idea: if the subject heading has the words "diet pill" in them, maybe it's not something I want, hey? Especially if 150k other hotmail inboxes all have the same damned email address.

MS is a great company. I love them. They have literally made the world a better place to live in, but their spam filtering sucks ass. Also, and I don't know how their new MSN search works (don't really care), at least prior to it they couldn't write a search engine for crap.

Hotmail spam filtering sucks. I signed up for some forum that I thought was going to be reputable, but not long after I started getting sh!tloads of spam in my hotmail account (when I had gotten hardly any before). Needless to say, it's a good idea to have individual mailboxes for different online forums and mailings.

One of these days I'm going to get myself a Gmail account to see what all the fuss is about...

yeah yahoo and gmail have better filters. i've gotten NO SPAM AT ALL from myrealbox...
