In 'socialist' euro countries, the pay gap between the average worker and CEO's is much smaller than america. Good job making yet another stupid statement yet again.

Except this isn't Europe now is it?

Good job making yet another irrelevant comment (yet again?)

He's making a blanket statement against 'socialists'.

We're not even anything close to being 'socialist'.

Yet countries you guys accuse of being 'socialist' have a smaller pay gap between ceo's and average workers.

In other words, you and bober are uninformed (surprise surprise)

Guess not? Its amazing how fast one of my threads can get merged, but put a death threat in the title and nobody notices I guess.

Correct. It is better described as fascist.

Did you really just write that?

Who would have though that a *socialist* country would have a *smaller* pay gap......

Gee, i dunno, maybe because in some of these 'socialist' countries, they have worker representatives in the board of directors who have a say in executive compensation?

Seems to contradict what bober was saying too, if you agree with that assessment:

In the game of government the wealthy will always win.

Hmm, not in Europe, apparently.

Oh that's right, ZERO.

Now, how much of GM did the government buy?

...wait...

...oh that's right, 70%.

So yes, Bank of America is a 'private' company and has no legal obligation to the tax payers.

Thank heaven for people like you, Pat's Anus, er, . . . Patranus. Without intrepid defender's of the faith like you, rich guys like Lewis would take their special talents to other countries, and then where would we be?
