Can some tell me why explore isn't store webpages(win XP)

I have been trying to figure out what setting I'm missing but explore
doesn't seem to save a copy of the web pages. every time I view a page with
pics I've got to re-download the pics. this is very annoying with a 56k
modem. anyone has any ideas. I've got the temp internet store set to 700mb
so there should be plenty of room.

Humm.. possibly if you go to the internet options and click `settings` beside `delete files` under `temporary intenret files` you should have an option in there that states: `Check for newer version or stored pages..` you can try setting that to `never`.
