Can some one with kick but soldering skillz help me out please

I knew it didnt work that was why I paid $20 for it. I was hoping it may be covered under a waranty but it is not but I have found the problem. THISsuper tiny part has come off. I have tried to solder it back on but I dont have a super small tip so I was only able to get the side down. I tried to do the others but kinds messed it up a little bit because my tip isnt small enough..

The camera does work with the sides soldered and pushing down on the other tips I was able to take serveral pictures with the camera so I need someone that has the skillz and the right equipment so I can give this to my wife. It was supposed to of been here before mothers day but didnt make it till today. She has no Idea and I would really like to suprise her with it. She has been wanting her own camera but with our situation I couldnt affor one and I actually got lucky because if this can get fixed I was able to get her a $200 camera for $20.

So if you have the know how and right tools and can do it for me I would greatly appreciate it a heck of alot. I dont have much money I am disabled and on welfair so I am hoping someone with a kind heart will hook me up. I can most likely come up with shipping both ways if I sell I few things or if your close to Chicago I can bring it to you.

It looks like the solder joints were cold, if they were even attached at all. Try taking it to a local electronics repair shop. The soldering on those isn't that delicate.

Another good idea would be to find a local electronics repair shop who should be able to do that for less than shipping would cost.

As a sidenote, when you're looking for a "kind heart" to do something for you out of charity, its probably counter-productive to spout off rubbish like the following:

I think that's a pretty valid point. I have needle-type soldering iron tips and the small iron from when I put together RF circuits in my lab using very tiny SOICs.

I wouldn't volunteer my effort to that type of attitude. That's just me, though.

as someone else stated, it would probably be cheaper to take it to an electronics repair shop though...

Do you have any solder wick to remove the old crap that is on there before you begin? And solder and flux for the reattachment? Believe it or not, in a pinch to repair tiny SOIC's I have used a paper clip attached to my iron with a metal cable clamp to use as a tiny solder point. Hey, when yer desperate ..

0402 parts. Those aren't too common yet. 0603s are the norm now, 1206 or 0805 if they're power supply parts.

If your not a asshat or a thread crapper then my comments really shouldnt be that big of bother. I just want to cut to the chase and get real people that wish to help and not BS me around.

Other then that I got it fixd then the damn ribbon cable broke

yep. I've never actually used 0402s.. i deal with 0603s on a daily basis though.
