can some one explain this processor pricing logic?

New egg has this Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz 512K 533MHz CPU Northwood P478 Processor Retail Box (not refurbished) priced at 192

While they have this Intel Pentium 4 / 2.26GHz Northwood 512K Socket 478 Processor 533MHz Processor Bus Retail Box (not refurbished) priced higher at 206

With the 533 fsb being equal, and their both retail, shouldn't the faster 2.4 be higher than the slower 2.26 or am I missing something?

The reason I ask is because this will be my first processor purchase and I didn't know if there was something I might be overlooking and need to know.

Its the same as in the AMD products: The only difference between 1800+ and 1900+ is the factor. In 1800+ its 11.5 and in 1900+ its 12.
In these products its the same. Im not sure how it works maybe some Intel guy could tell us.

Basic economics... Supply and Demand.

Newegg sets those prices. For some reason (most likely their supply), they want people to buy the 2.4b over the 2.26ghz.
