Your 'point' is pedantic in the extreme and ignores common usage.
By replying this way, it has been you turning it into the battleground.
Again, my point (which is correct) is that the H engine type is not what a boxer is, but the Subaru and Saab H engines are boxers. I do not know anyone commonly refering to the boxer as an 'H' engine here in S. Florida and we have a ton of Subie's around here, they will say boxer and 2.xL H4 . The H4 came in a few displacements. It's not a pedantic argument though; you can't say that because a VW has a boxer in it, it's an 'H4' or even 'H"...again end of story. Saying your WRX has an H4 in it would be dead-on correct.
I did want to mention congrats on the new word you discovered to beat down all the e-geniuses that rise against you. Bonus for using it 3x in the same thread. 3 syllables even,
www.hop.com is paying off for you. Look at the big brain on DBZ, let's give him a Royale with Cheese on the house!.
To LTC....inline V8 makes sense; it's a true statement.
It's just a little redundant hence not used really and creates confusion with an inline 8.
