Can SetiQueue be set to D/L new WU's only?

While things seem to be flowing well from Berkeley right now, I'd really rather build up my cache instead of upload results. The way I look at it, I can always send them results, but if the farm doesn't have enough seed for the acres, that would be much worse. Is this possible?

I'm not sure, but you could try specifying "Download WorkUnits" in Processing Priority, then set "Upload Pending results" to disable.

Yes you can! 😀

(I know this one.) 🙂

Login: got to settings and change "upload pending results" to "disabled".

Then you will only be grabbing new WU's from them.

You'll get better result if you change the Processing Priority to Download Workunits when you disable the upload pending results.

You could also change the INSANE line in the user.ini and admit that you're one of the SETI NUTS by setting it to TRUE. Then change the Inter-WU gap to 0 as well as Inter-WU VLAR gap to 0.

I knew someone would know! 🙂

However, (caution--stupid question coming 😉 I didn't set a password for SetiQueue when I set it up. What do I put in for my password?

Go to Settings/HTTP Server from the main SetiQ screen and then you can type in whatever you want as your Administration password. When you login, it will have a password form, type it in and hit your enter key.
