They should.. just make sure that you don't use any memory in the 72 pin SIMM sockets(for VX boards). If you put it in(I don't see the reason for it, since DIMMs are more then enough) it'll work, but the 5v for the SIMMs will slowly kill your 3.3v DIMMs. most MB didn't implement the safety feature to block the leaking voltage.. So for the sake of your SDRAM, don't use any more EDO/FP SIMMs when you use SDRAM on the VX.. as for TX, I don't see any reason that It won't work. it just that you'll not be able to get the PC100/133 speed out of the bus, since it's running at 66Mhz only.

MulLa: that's odd.. how big is the DIMM? I know some MB can't handle DIMM that has more then 32 chips.. but LX boards running at PC66, which could take PC100/133 DIMM with no problem, in fact, I had one LX board that has PC133 DIMMs in it(yes, it's a waste...)

Not real sure about this, but I'll toss it in anyway and maybe someone will respond: I understand that you should use a single-sided DIMM only, that if you use double-sided the TX chipset will only recognize one side, e.g. 1/2 the DIMM.
Also, of course, that for almost all uses of your 'puter 64mb is the useful limit, that over that you incur a major performance penalty, as the TX cannot cache RAM over 64mb, and you effectively lose your L2.

vx chipset won't support new pc66 or pc100. It requires a "2-clock" dimms, the new sdram is"4-clock"

I've run PC 100 ram on a shuttle hot-569 mothboard before (430tx), it was two 64megs. Worked great.
