Not real sure about this, but I'll toss it in anyway and maybe someone will respond: I understand that you should use a single-sided DIMM only, that if you use double-sided the TX chipset will only recognize one side, e.g. 1/2 the DIMM.
Also, of course, that for almost all uses of your 'puter 64mb is the useful limit, that over that you incur a major performance penalty, as the TX cannot cache RAM over 64mb, and you effectively lose your L2.
