Can Partition Magic be used on RAID 0?

Wondering if anyone has used Partition Magic on a RAID 0 set up. I made the original C partition too small and am seriously up against the wall. The manual seems to say that RAID 0 is supported but the Read Me file seems to say otherwise. I'm askeered to use the program for fear it will hose the RAID array and the data on it.

I have used PM8 for a couple of years. But - it has become a bit long in the tooth for things like RAID 0 arrays. The new king - Acronis Disk Director.

Two 75 Gig Raptors in RAID 0. Windows service pack 2. The Windows (C) partition is too small at 25 Gig, so would like to resize because there is no more room for updates, patches and so forth. And although I haven't decided on Service Pack 3 there is no room for it anyway. I'm just concerned that Partition Magic might not play well with RAID. I know I can back up, and reinstall if something goes bad. I just don't want to go through all that.

Software or hardware RAID?

Not that I know if it'll help, just think it might be important to include.

Well, the array doesn't depend on an add-in card like RocketRAID so I guess it's software. When I first installed windows I hit F6 for the RAID drivers and set up the array with the partitions.

Acronis was the first mainstream partitioning software that claimed support for resizing partitions on a raid array. PM used to say if it worked for you fine, but if it blew up, don't call us as it is not officially supported.

I have used Acronis and Paragon to resize partitions on a raid with no issues.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do I need to have the RAID drivers handy for a reboot after resizing?

if your using raid drivers you've got a hardware raid. If your using a hardware then any software should see the RAID controller as one logical hard drive. It won't even know that your using RAID. You should be safe.
