Okay here's the deal. I've spent a god awful amount of time putting this thing together trying to get it to boot. I finally figure it out was either the old NIC card or the jumper settings. It could never boot with the auto-detect settings. The RAM is Kingston ValueRAM 184 Pin 256MB DDR PC-3200, I think it has something to do with that.

But here's the deal, it will ONLY boot with the jumpers set to 200 (400mhz) FSB. I tried setting the RAM to 166 and booting with 166 but that didn't work either. I really need some help here.

Spects: Barton 2500+ RETAIL

Basically it thinks it's a 3200+... I know this isn't healthy. I also know the Barton is a hell of an overclocker, but this computer is NOT for me and I do not want to damage it.

No, it has a minimum of 200.

Yeah... it's running at 46º. That's a little hot.

Hi!
To tell you the thruth
No more Chaintech motherboards for me
I've got a Chaintech SKT600 and a Chaintech a 7VJL5
Both have the same problem when it's time for the video card driver (Powecolor 9200 series
or the other one is an N'vidia card with 64 megs) I tried 3 video cards and I always have a
problem it turn itself off, or it freeze (I use Windows ME)
So for me now no more chaintech.
I've got about 5 ECS K7S5A pro and never had a problem with them.
