Get one of these and get cracking.

Interesting, does that really work?

That works really good man! I bought that specifically to clean my car and it made it like new. Probably better than having a pro do it because you can spend as much time on it as you want. Its only $100 and to have someone clean it would be around $75 and up so it would be better to have this just in case anything else spills in the future. I love it! The powerbrush thing is pretty cool since it spins but to suck up the water the other attachment works best. Soak up the carpet and whatever and then have that brush thing clean it and then suck it all up with the smaller attachment. Works great for small house jobs too.

Good stuff, sounds like an excellent investment. I'll look into that if cleaning it by hand doesn't work out, thanks for the review. 🙂

Well he beat me to it but I have one as well and my upholstery looks new again🙂

*shudders* Good point. I guess there's a silver lining to everything. 😛

Well this thing is pretty cool. You put hot water in and then you turn on the heat button and it keeps it hot so that you can better get the crap out. I just use some armorall or however you spell it, wipes on the dash and doors and stuff. You should greatly consider this.

You can proabably get it close to perfect on your own, try a little scubber/steamer upholstry attachment on your seats, the mats you can take out and wash with garden hose or take to car wash, and you can do all the glass and vinyl inside yourself. Seats will probably be the biggest challenge.

On the fabric you might just get away with washing once with some soap (or oxyclean) and water with a sponge, let dry, then use the foam-on upholstry cleaner and vacuum up.

Mythbusters did a show saying that this couldn't happen. Apparantly many people flooded the Discovery website informing them otherwise.

Trust me.

Its a HECK of a lot better than the 1.75 of Jack Daniels that exploded in my car.

By a LONG way.

-edit- clean it as best you can and it will eventually go away. Leave windows open.

The best is when a can explodes and then the soda on the ceiling of the car freezes and you have tasty coke icicles. ><
