Anyone knows what do I need to tweak to enable me to log in into secure site ?

I am using Win-Me with IE 5.5 and can not log into secure sites. (Not even into Hot mail) + Cable connection

My security is set to -
Medium,
Except cookies,

The advance settings are (Security)-
Enable profile assistant,
Use Fortezza,
Use PCT 1.0
Use SSL 2.0
Use SSL 3.0
Warn if forms submittal is being redirected..

Whenever I try to log into a secure site ( like Hot Mail or others) I get - "The page can not be displayed"

BTW- I can log into secure sites using Netscape

Thanx in advance :)

It sounds like you've managed to corrupt Windows' encryption system. To prove this go to Internet explorer->Help->About IE. And see if it says: 'Cipher strength: 0 bit'

This is easily fixable by installing the 128-bit patch.

Thank you bonkers325, Patriot and Mark R for your stepping in and help :)

I did suspect that the problem is with the encryption, but I wanted to check with others if infact this is the problem.

Great help from you guys, I thank you all again :)

Here is the file that did the "trick" ( Just in case if someone else has the same problem )
