Can my router be used as a repeater?

Well.. I have 2 routers and I was wondering if there was any way for me to use the 2nd one as a repeater to extend my wireless signal; It is a D-Link DI-624. Thanks in advance.

Nope.

Of the Brand Name, Buffalo Tech., Belkin, and 3rd party firmware for Linksys WRT54.

well not as repeater but you can do ip route and give the routers a different ip range and use ip route to link them but this will make 2 network ;*(.

Why not just use a higher gain antenna? The DI-624 uses an RP-SMA connector that is pretty standard. Those tiny antennas they come with are only 2dbi gain and it's pretty easy to find replacements that will greatly extend your range.

Can you elaborate on this. I apologize for being a novice, but more explanation or instruction would be greatly appreciated.
