Can my mobo handle a FOP-38?

I'm looking to get this super powerful fan but I just read

My motherboard is a Abit KT7 non raid. I have a 300W PS...

Anyone know if my system can handle it?

It will work just fine, KT7 and it's RAID brother have plenty of room for all but the GIANT PEP66, and the older Orbs.

It can indeed.
The fan headers supply 4 watts of power, so the Delta's fine

Remember, careful with that clip!!!

The FOP-38 will work of course regardless of whether your motherboard header supports the proper voltage or not because it comes with a 3 to 4 pin Y converter this way you can hook it up directly to the power supply, and you won't lose a connector.

Where did you get your info on KT7-R fan header wattage rating ?

Just wondering, .............. the KT7 Faq site lists the mb fan headers as being rated for 5W each .............. ?
