Can more than 1 keyboard be connected

Can i have more that one keyboard connected on a PS2 cable...by splicing in?

No. PS/2 is a point to point serial connection. One main device (keyboard) and one auxiliary (mouse).

You can pile up as many USB keyboards as you want though. As long as your operating system supports that.

I have a question, I think the same thing. but I have a Claw (gaming thingy) which is a PS/2 gaming device, it has a ps/2 passthrough so you can have it hooked up along with your KB. Would I be wrong to assume that if you had the same passthrough you should be able to do this with KB's or even mice?

*shrug* I'm just curious if it's something in this Claw that allows it to be used the same time as a KB.

That Claw thing possibly just sneaks in fake keypresses. So the system still sees only one device, and communicates with this one device.

You cannot have truly separate multiple devices on the legacy keyboard or mouse connector. Ain't no discussing this.
