Can Internet Keyboards work with Mozilla/Phoenix?

Okay. So today I received a very nice new silver and black Keyboard by Viewsonic (they actually appear to make a couple good boards, this one looks like Logitech Elite except better. Anyways). It has a ton of multimedia/internet buttons that I would like to consider using (things like forward, back, stop, etc.). Problem is I use Phoenix as a browser and the drivers were designed around IE. I don't want to go back to IE. Phoenix is at least 2390829328% faster (not really but the fact that it is so snappy has made me want to keep it). Anyways, is anyone running Mozilla or Phoenix or even Netscape with a multimedia keyboard, and if so how do you set it up so that the buttons actually work?

For those that don't know, Phoenix is a special build of Mozilla that's exceedingly fast.

I'm curious too. Where can you buy that keyboard in the US?

I never installed the Intellipoint drivers for my M$ keyboard since I didn't think the buttons would work w/ Netscape.

Haha - I know, I just didnt realize it had actually gone through

That's the other thing about going from a crappy old keyboard to a nice new one - you have a tendency to press buttons and not even know it =P

FYI, I got mine from newegg.com $33 shipped after I couldn't find the Logitech Elite anywhere. Saved myself 20 bucks anyways, and I think this one is nicer. It's VERY classy looking and the silver accent matches my silver LCD perfectly, so I'm satisfied even if I can't use all the extra buttons.

FWIW, I tested it out using Opera and it worked. So possibly it could work also on the other browsers. Just make the desired (non-IE) browser the default it should work. At least it did for me with Opera.
