Can I Use Western Digital Diagnostic Tools

I replaced my Western Digital HD with a Seagate (nothing wrong with the WD, just wanted to try something different). I've already downloaded and used the Seagate HD diagnostic tools on my new Seagate drive but I still have my old WD diagnostic tools. Do you think it would hurt a Seagate hard drive if I used the WD diagnostic tools on it? There's nothing wrong with the drive...I was just curious if I should only use the Seagate tools and nothing else.

Thanks!!

I don't know about WD's disk diagnostics tools, but some of the older disk tools would only function if ONE of your installed hard drives was built by the provider of the disk tool. I don't know if this is the case with WD's tools.

I've had WD diagnostic tools not identify two different WD drives that were bad, so I stopped using that software altogether.
