Can I use two DIMM slots with a BX board at 150MHz FSB?

I currently have a Pentium III 700@1050🙂Slot1(SL454) processor with a Asus P3B-F motherboard but my own stick of 128MB PC133 memory can´t handle 150MHz FSB so I have borrowed a stick of 128MB PC133 memory that can handle 150MHz CAS3 from a friend🙂. But I am going to buy 256MB RAM pretty soon so I was wondering if I should buy one 256MB stick of "256MB Mushkin High Perf REV2 PC133 222" or a "Crucial CT32M64S4D7E" module? Or is it better to buy two sticks of "128MB Mushkin High Perf REV2 PC133 222" or "Crucial CT16M64S4D7E" memory? I have heard that BX board have stability problemes when populating more that one DIMM slot @133MHz FSB or more? And I would like to run the memory @222🙂🙂. Will the Crucial ram hit 150MHZ@222 just as easily as the mushkin mem.?

All comments are welcome🙂🙂

Not sure but I have 1 crucial PC133 single side, 1 crucial PC133 double side, both 128mb, same part number but order different times... BX6 R2... just got 256MB x2 today.. gonna try later...

Abit BF6 with o/c P-III 600.

1. 128MB generic PC133
2. 64MB generic PC133

Total: 196MB @ 145MHz FSB.

No problem

Thanks for the replays guys🙂🙂

<< Good luck on finding anything other than HSDRAM that will run 150MHz 2-2-2. >>

HSDRAM actually runs at 2:3:2@150MHz🙁🙁

Apparently a lot of people are hitting 2:2:2@150MHz with the "128MB Mushkin High Perf REV2 PC133 222" module. But what about the "Crucial CT32M64S4D7E" module, that module is much cheaper?

And aren´t 256MB modules usually harder to get up to 150MHz at all? Mushkin just reasently started selling a 256MB module that could do 2:2:2@133MHz so it must be harder to make a 2:2:2 256MB module.🙁

I currently have the Crucial PC133 Cas2 7ns dimms and i am selling them so that i can get some Mushkin PC133 rev2 dimms to do 150 2,2,2.

My Crucial 7ns wont go past 146 🙁
In fact i get increasing anomalies the closer i get to 146 🙁
If you can afford it IMO u be as well gettin the Mushkin.

rockhard =)

The "128MB Mushkin High Perf REV2 PC133 222" does seem to be a better module than the Crucial CAS 2. Then that module is perfect for me🙂

Thanks for the help🙂

One more question.

What´s best, two "128MB Mushkin High Perf REV 2 PC133 222" modules or one "256MB Mushkin High Perf REV 2 PC133 222" module?

Thanks

I know this isn't answering your question but I have a stick of Crucial CT16M64S4D7E that will do 150 @ 2-2-2
