I have an AMD 2500XP with 512 pc2700 ram. I'm thinking about adding another 512 mb of ram but am undecided between pc2700 or pc3200 since their price difference is really negligible. I'm thing about getting the pc3200 since if I wanna upgrade later to another cpu, I'll be able to use it. But can I mix pc3200 ram with my current pc2700 ram? If so, will I have problems with stability? Also, do I need to do anything special in the bios so that I can run it at a lower speed? Thanks.
