i have an original geforce 32mb sdr and was wondering if the new det27.00s would work for it in windowsME...

Yes you can.

Until nvidia changes the architecture significantly enough, the detonators should work* for all cards based on TNT1/2 or Geforce/1/2/3 chipsets.

* Latest version may not give best performance for some cards

hmmm its a safer bet goin with 23.12 WHQL ones then, eh?

or 27.10 is latest and not 27.00?

I just want the best performance possible!

Different people find different sets perform best.

Most people have found that the latest 23.xx drivers in Win9x/ME are the fastest. No real info about how the 27.xx are yet. Give it a week and people will soon have a half decent opinion.

What set are you using right now? If you are still using 3.xx, 5.xx, 6.xx, or 7.xx drivers, you should upgrade to something in the 2x.xx series (latest WHQL if you want) as they should give you a bit better performance especially with DX8.

hmm its not really for me... for a friend and he dont know jack about computers and stuff so he prolly has the ones that came on the CD at the time of purchase (VERYYY long time ago...)
