Which site looks shady? What's shady about ebay? I mean ebay is completely legit, and all your purchases are not only protected by ebay, but protected by Paypal as well, how you think that's shady I have no idea.
Lots of scam deals (price too good to be true, unlimited stock, from sellers with low reps), china sellers that accept qty orders, but ignore the qty when it comes to fulfill your order (shortchanging you), to companies like BestBuy that have their head up their ass when it comes to their ebay operation. I ordered a qty of items (that were clearanced), and they didn't ship me my complete order. I didn't realize that they were doing multiple seperate shipments from different warehouses. (There was only one tracking number, not multiples.) So I asked for a refund for the remaining qty of my orders, and they got back to me, said that one of the orders was enroute back to their warehouse, whereas the other order, said that I should wait for it, that it was coming in a separate shipment.
So I'm waiting, and I have yet to receive refund, or the remainder of the goods I ordered.
Ebay is a PITA. I may have to resort to opening my first Paypal case against BestBuy, I don't know.
Edit: Received a refund for one of my orders today.
