can i use crossfire label card as a single card

I am planning to buy "SAPPHIRE X1900XT(512MB)" card. BUt on the box , there is a label
"CROSSFIRE"

I want to ask that can i use this card in a NON-CROSSFIRE fire. MEans i just need one card.

yes, although if your mobo isn't crossfire compatible, i have to ask why you're buying a CF card

becoz without crossfire is not available, and may be in future i will upgrade my mobo to use 2 cards in crossfire.
