Can I use an EPS PS on a 24-pin ATX motherboard?

I just purchased the NF4 SLI motherboard/7800GTX deal on Newegg.

The motherboard takes a 24-pin ATX PS.

I have a 550-watt EPS PS from my dual Xeon box. It has the 24-pin connector, 8-pin 12v connector, 6-pin PCI-E connector, 4-pin P4 connector, SATA connectors, etc.

What I don't know is if the pinouts on the 24-pin connector on the EPS PS is the same as on the 24-pin connector on the ATX PX.

EPS and ATX are different standards; that's what is worrying me.

Thanks.

ps
Yes, I read the "Do I need a 24-pin PS?" thread stickied at the top of GH. It doesn't mention EPS powersupplies. EPS powersupplies are typically used only in a server/dual processor environment, which isn't mentioned all that often here at AT.

PS in question.

the 24 pin connectors are the same. EPS12V refers to the 12V connector being 8 pins instead of 4, but IIRC it fits fine if there is extra space around the ATX12v connector.

Thanks, Whatever. My EPS has BOTH the 8-pin 12v AND the 4-pin 12v, so I'm covered. 🙂

If anyone else has opinions/thoughts, pls chime in.
