Hopefully, this is a simple and easy question. I haven't been keeping up to well on wireless gear, so I need to ask it.

My situation is, I currently have a small 10/100 network in my home. I have an SMC 4 port Barricade router that I'm currently using. I would like to add wireless capability for my laptop. I figured I could sell the wired router to recoup some of the cost of upgrading to wireless.

I would like to buy a wireless router, such as the SMC 7004AWBR. Will I be able to have my laptop with WiFi card connect wirelessly to this router, as well as have the other computers connect to the router via CAT-5?

Thanks!

Yeah!

This Cable/DSl Router has 3 wired RJ-45 jacks (for three wired computers), and one Access Point for over 100 Wireless Clients.

If you need more then 3 Wired computers , you can buy an inexpensive Switch and add it to the Wireless Barricade, or you can use your current Barricade has an extra switch (disable DHCP on the second Barricade if you plan to do so).
