Can I use a "stock" HSF on an Athlon XP 1800?

Hope to purchase a system from mwave.com soon. The XP CPU's they have listed come with a HSF... Should I spend the extra cash for a "good" HSF? What type/brand is good anyway? I'm looking for a semi-quiet system with adequate cooling -- I may be trying some overclocking in the future... But, if I don't , I assume the HSF that comes with the CPU is adequate?

Of course, otherwise they won't be so brave to give you 3 years warranty.

If you need a semi-quiet system with adequate cooling ...maybe u would be better off with a P4...system...AMD's need/work better
with alot of cooling...(best HS/FAN combo, 3 case fans...etc...)😱
