can I use a flat panel display with a V5?

I just gave my brother my old Voodoo5 and he's off to another part of the country with it. He phoned back saying he'd bought a flat panel display and that he was getting a "no signal" message on it. Are flat panel displays compatible with Voodoo 5's? If not what is the oldest graphics card that supports flat panel displays?

I can use the v3 2k with my philips flat panel. Which monitor does he have? I know that with mine it has both DVI and VGA inputs. It then has a selection with the OSD to change which input you wanna use.

So long as it's got a VGA connector, yes you can.

If you're using a converted Macintosh V5 5500 PCI, the DVI output will not work under a PC BIOS.
