Can I use 2 different gamepads for the same game?

Dumb question probably, but I can't make up my mind between the Logitech and Thrustmaster gamepads. I think I'll get both and use the one I prefer myself. Will I run into any problems configuring two different controllers for the same game? In other words, player 1 gets the Thrustmaster and player 2 gets the Logitech -- will they be able to configure their controllers without any conflicts?

Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem, I've played multiplayer NHL2k2 with 4 difference USB controllers on my computer before, no conflicts at all.

You shouldnt have any problems at all. I have multiple different game pads myself and have played many games 4player in which each person was using a different game pad.
