Currently running a agp Radeon Ve(I know) it's served me well,My system is a PIII 1000,256 meg sdram, sb 16 pc,i win98.My m/b is maxxed out with this cpu(asus p-299b,slot 1,440 zx chipset). As the m/b is a few years old I'm wondering if a newer vid card will run in it.I'm looking for a budget card, like Ati 9000,GF4 mx,or even a GF2 ti 200,I can't afford cutting edge,or even a Gf3,but the Ati card is affordable and so are some of the others.I'm leaning towards a GF4 mx,seeing as how the Radeon I have works fine, will the GF4 mx pose any problems? Thanks.

One of my systems is a P3-700@933. It originally had a vid card similar to yours (a 32mb RadeonLE w/hyperZ enabled) and I upgraded it to a 8500LE. My 3DMark 2k1 went from ~3000 to ~6000 and I saw noticable improvement in my games. Don't know if that helps you any but thats my experience.
