can i uninstall l4d2?

I've had a steam account forever. bought and installed l4d2 on my pc. it's installed under my main account. am i right in thinking i can uninstall l4d2(just not fun to me) and do whatever i want with it since i have a physical cd and key?

AFAIK, there is no way to remove steam games from your account to resell, even if you have a retail copy.

You can uninstall it (right click, delete local content). You cannot, however, resell it, as it is tied to your Steam account.

Yeah thats one aspect that is horrible with steam. Once you reg the cd-key, its locked to that account.

One way to combat this, is to use a separate account for each game. And technically reselling steam accounts violates their terms but, I could care less about that.
