Can I turn off windows 8.1 touch feaure?

Hi guys,

My wife drop her lapop, the screen cracked, the laptop still working, but the touch screen interfering with the touch pad, is there a way I can disable or turn off the touch screen feature on the laptop or in windows 8.1?
The laptop is Asus S200e.

Try this. Right click on the Start Button then click on Device Manager. Under the device manager there should be a Mice and other pointing devices option. Click on the little arrow next to it. You should see a device driver for the touch screen. Right click on it and choose disable.
