Can I trick a website into believing it's tomorrow?

I'm reading on Lezhin comics and I wanted to know if I could make the website think it's tomorrow so I can get the chapter update sooner. The chapter was updated at the usual time when I was in a country that was ahead, so I think if there was a way to ake it ahead it could be there. Unless there's more stuff going on, I don't know. I don't want to root my phone, so I'm not trying the app. Is there a way to do that for the website?

If you're traveling out of country, shouldn't you be spending that precious time with hookers instead of comic books?

You would need to know how to hack, and also need access to a source of 1.21 jiggawatts, and also need a flux capacitor and time circuits.

You need to travel to tomorrow, download the comic, come back, hack the site, and upload it before the owner does.

If the website is hosted on a major hosting platform you can probably just travel far enough into the future to get the admin password from a data breach that is likely to happen since it seems every company gets breached these days.

surely if you could trick a website into showing you tomorrow's content, you'd pick the NASDAQ results, NOT some web comic.

I think it has nothing to do with the time on your computer or cellphone. It probably has to do with your public IP address, based on the information you gave in the quoted text. If a chapter update is available at a country based on whether it is the next day or not, there has to be a way for the webserver to know where the computer that is requesting the info is located at.

This information is only available via the public IP address. Each ISP provider has a set of Public IP addresses asociated with it. Via geo-lookup or registry-lookup, it can be found what country does this ISP provider serve. By knowing the country, the webserver can then calculate the local time of the computer that is requesting the resource is located at.

But then again, you should just wait till it is the next day.

I did it.
I got home, found the Opera app, used the VPN, and accessed it in Korea. Then, when I got in, I found the NEW (🤣) chapter, opened it up aaaand...
...
It. Was. Going on hiatus.

There's a lesson here.
Maybe I should become the shut-in that actually studies.

I think all of us represent a Hive-Mind of "inaccessible information," unavailable to persons below our level(s) of intellect.

We are all in this together & we're all trying to arrive @ the same place, am-I-rite?

Thank you 4 passing on the Info!

Unless it's some hack bootleg site someone made for their first "hello world" website, the time checking is going to be on the server side of things and has absolutely nothing to do with your browser.

It would also depend on whether or not the site checks for timezone of where the request is coming from.

what ?
You have NEVER watched Kung Fury ?!?
No, I haven't.
Kung fury

A very special short movie, just google the name and you find tons of info.
It is free to watch as well.
As mentioned, Kung Fury. It's almost too beautiful to exist in this world.

Kung Fury is freaking hilarious. I was jarring out the whole way, it's just ridiculous stuff but so hilarious. Like this scene:

Thanks. :)
