can i transport an os to another hdd?

I want to sell a harddrive but I want to know if it's possible to transfer all the files over to another hdd, I have 3 total so I wont be using the hdd with the files on it to boot...

See what i mean? is it possiblle?

Use norton ghost or a program called PC relocator.

don't use pc relocator... havn't had good experiences with it... norton ghost I love... there are plenty of programs for this.... seach oh the forums for programs to backup hard drives. I can't remember the other 2 that are pretty popular, but i'm sure you can find them.

also since is probablly a 1 time deal... you might want to get one w/ a trial and just use that, instead of purchasing one.

Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image will do it.
