All I use is mp3's. I suppose if the RIAA comes knocking I'd be in trouble for not producing the originals, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Toss em? They're taking too much room.

Too much room? You living in a mini cooper?

Just put them in a holder and get rid of the plastic/cardboard case.

Also do you have backups of your mp3?

You know that mp3s aren't the same quality as CDs right? Seriously, you have to be retarded to throw away your CDs...

I'm a man of convenience now. While they may not sound as good I prefer them to getting off my ass, flipping through all those cd's and putting it in the player.

Some might call this "lazyiness" as well. :D

All you guys that are offering to buy his collection are unaware that all he owns are multiple copies of Michael Bolton albums ;)

As soon as you sell your CD's you have no right to hold on to the mp3's because it is not the physical medium you paid for at the CD store but the material it holds. You can get a filing case that holds a 100 or more CD's and takes up as little space as around 20-30 CD cases. Plus you would not want to lose all that music to hard drive failure, would you?

I have seen plenty of good quality CD cases that hold atleast 200 CDs for 20-30 bucks. I would rather have the CD's than not.
