Can I test a Video Card for HDCP compatability??

A few weeks ago, I got a 7900GS from the good folks at WOOT. It was a pre-release OEM (MSI?) with no manuals or accessories.

Now that the release versions are out, I'm wondering if this card has HDCP compatability?

Does anyone know if it does? Is there some way to test a card for HDCP?

Many Thanks - G

AFAIK the 7950 is the first of that ilk with HDCP. What plenty of OEM chip suppliers say on their websites is HDCP "ready", which means if the board design includes the HDCP chip then it works, but only a couple cards do so far.

Funny you ask. Supposedly the woot 7900GS cards that you and I have (the OEM with green PCB) are stolen. MSI stated this in some report, its on the web if you search.

The MSI Woot cards appear to be missing the optional chip, as screenshots show an area in the corner near where the heatsink fan plugs in that is missing this component. My Woot card doesn't have it as well, and since it was OEM I wasn't surprised at all to see it missing.
