Can I take Tylenol while taking Levaquin?

Yeah, I know the #1 piece of advice that applies here is that I should contact my doctor about this. But I've had a 103 temperature all day and it's not going down even after she put me on Levaquin some 8 hours ago. I just want to help kill the fever but my doctors office is now closed.

Where can I go (phone or online) to find a credible answer to my question? I've scoured Levaquin.com and can't find any mention of Tylenol.

Thanks!

Jeez, that's a simple answer! I'll give that a try! Sometimes when you're as loopy as I am now (meds side-effects + fever), the obvious is very ellusive. :)

I was on this a while back. It's OK to do if you first take a vitamin B1 rectally. It counteracts the side effects. Worked great for me.

The prescribing information Text makes no mention of acetaminophen, but does caution against nsaids (ibuprofen etc).

I'm not going to interpret that for you here on teh intraweb.

Seriously do this. Don't ask about drug interactions on an internet message board. Ask a pharmacist.

I agree here. That's why I asked for help thinking of a credible way to get my answer - I'm not gonna trust you monkeys! ;)

I gave CVS a call up and the pharmacist gave me the answer I was hoping he would.

Thanks all for the help!

oh, btw, I'm getting my B1 tablet ready too - thanks for the tip! ;)
