okay, I had this on board sound that got screwed up, even I reinstall the driver it still won't work.
so I am rescorted to re-install windows just for the freaking onboard sound...
meanwhile, I got loads of Applications installed, if I delete/reinstall the old Windows, the program wouldn't work right? Is there a way to make it so?

Why delete if your reinstalling same OP system? If it is the same as your first install you shouldn't have to delete it, just reinstll over it. Should search for currently installed programs and leave them.
