I have never messed around with SLI but my roommate has a 270 he's not using and I was wondering if my motherboard supports SLI can I SLI these two cards together?

Thanks guys,
Alfa

SLI needs identical cards, so no you could only SLI with another 9800 GTX+ or a GTX 275. However you could use your 9800 GTX+ as a physX card and the GTX 275 as the graphics card.

No, you're not understanding. The only way to SLI two cards is to have to identical cards. If they aren't identical, they cannot work together. One card could be a dedicated physx card though, which would help in about a dozen or so games (Batman AA, Mirror's Edge, Darkest of Days, Mafia II....), but not in the Unigine benchmark.

Thanks!

What would be a benchmarking tool that can take advantage of physx?

What kind of votes? You mean, you're going to win the "This guy doesn't stand a chance" vote?

Sorry, I had to!

How about the guy who can get the most people to show up and vote for his computer kinda deal... I just want the $25 giftcard 😀

lol. I assume you me GTX 275. Just use the 9800 GTX for physx, and OC the 275. I am in a similar situation, I have a GTX 260 revision B and a 9800 GTX. I am just going to keep the 9800 on the side for a spare. My main system has 5870 xfire though.

o lolz. very nice. OC the hell out of it.
