Can I separate a cable modem access in to two?

I have Optimum online, and I was just wondering if there was anyway for two computers to access internet simultaneously.

I don't see why you can't share the cable service. With a router or a switch (depending on your budget and needs) you could share the cable service. There are enough threads on this topic in this forum I would suggest taking the time to go through some of them as some have quite useful information regarding the pros and cons of each type of broadband sharing device.

I just bought a Linksys 4-port router in order to do exactly what you are asking. Works fine and very easy to set up!
