Can I sell a used StraightTalk sim?

I;m about to be switching over to virgin and will be selling me 3GS, and I've got an AT&T sim in it, which ST doesn't make anymore. Can I sell that?

You can sell it, but it's going to have to be the whole account, including the phone number. Maybe they'll allow you to change the account owner's name afterward, but maybe not.

If you port the phone number out to Virgin Mobile, then the account is dead, the SIM card will also be dead and cannot be reused.

I just bought the Kyocera Rise on Amazon. I'll likely not even bother with the sim then. I'll hopefully make money by getting more that $75 for my 16GB 3GS.
