I got a Panaflo 92mm H1A 9 I believe (Model nubmer is : FBA09A12H) and it comes with a motherboard header, bought it off a friend and he installed one but didn't use it. My Question is will i burn out my motherboard header? Or should i run it off a molex? It draws 0.29A apparently

YOu can have the best of both world's. There is an adaptor sold at several places such as crazypc.com that splits the rpm sensor from the power lines which allows you to draw power from a molex and connect the sensor to your motherboard. The molex connector is even the pass throught type (at least the ones I have) so you don't lose a power line.

Your choice.I think it will be fine on the mobo. The only header I use on the mobo is the fan for the CPU,nothing else.Your choice which you want to use.I don't think is strong enough to burn out the header.By the way check you manual for the mobo, but I don't think it says what the header can handle.

Thx! I gave up though and just used a Molex (really annoying when you burn out a header).

Panaflos (well, like 99% of them) don't have RPM monitoring. They can still be plugged to motherboard headers though.
