Hi guys,

I've been doing compu-$hit for a long time now, but I just now am thinking about overclocking. I have a Dell Dimension XPST500 PIII 500mhz. I am running on a intel 440 board. Am I able to overclock this POS? I run (I believe) a 2x AGP Diamond Viper 770d, sblive value, and some other crap. (I don't know if this matters or not.)

Any suggestions?
Should I just wait till I buy and build my 1ghz T-bird system?
I would like to try, but this is my only sys, I really don't want to screw it up.

Thanks,

Nope, intel dosn't not support any change in fsb control so they don't build it into their mobo which are sold to dell. You can only oc the viper's video speed.

With the Dell, it's virtually impossible due to the motherboard they use. Overclocking the video card won't do you much good. I wouldn't worry about it. Wait for your T-Bird.
