2.8ghz should be fine with the stock cooler. Why not spend a 10th of the cpu's cost on a arctic freezer 7 pro though and do 3.0ghz without having to worry

Nah just wondering, I want to only moderately overclock it at first since my last cpu was a 3500+ and my last experience with OC'ing dates back to 2003 or whatever. After that I might buy another cooler...
Well thanks for the input.. I also ordered a Gigabyte P35-DQ6 which according to reviews has a good heat sink solution, I heard not every fan will fit with it tho.
