Can I mix memory?

Can I mix one stick of Corsair 128mb, 2100 DDR-SDRAM, 184-pin DIMM, CAS 2.5, 266mhz (16mx64 or 16x72. not sure which)

with

2 sticks of Crucial (Part No. CT3264Z265) 256mb, 2100 DDR-SDRAM, 184-pin DIMM, CL=2.5, unbuffered no-parity, 2.5v=32megx64

My problem:
I have to choose Corsair memory with the PC I'm having built to qualify for the free 3 year Parts and Labor warrantee. The Corsair memory 128mb stick is $65. A 256mb stick is $100.

However, I already have the 2 Crucial sticks I mentioned above. I paid only $50. total.

I realize both Crucial and Corsair are good quality. But I don't need all this memory.

I obviously would like to keep my cost down with the 128mb stick while qualifying for the free 3 yr. P&L warantee. However, if that 128mb stick of Corsair is not compatible with the 256mb Crucial then maybe a 256 Corsair may be the way to go?

What should I do? Yes, there are 3 DIMMS on the mobo.

just do trial and error and if it works, it works, sometimes it doesn't. Just loop some games for a good test.
