Can I Just

substitute an rim from a neon or similar to my pt cruiser assuming they are the same size. I was thinking or running studded winter tires and that would make things easier just to swap things out rather then change tires in the fall in spring.

I guess that's what I am asking, the neons setting around work look similar, but I haven't looked real hard either. What all do I need to take into account. The crusiers wheels don't look like anything special.

So if the neon has the same size tire, rim width should be the same right?

Bolt pattern should be easy enough to figure, What about offset.

The beauty of the neon rims, a junk yard ought to have a ton of them.

Easiest way to figure out is to take one off the Neon and see if it fits. And by see if it fits I mean not only make sure it bolts on but get under the car and make sure you've got clearance from the tie rod ends , struts, etc.

Edit: Sorry I was under the impression you already had a Neon you were looking to swap wheels off. Read your post again and I see that you're looking to get them at a junk yard.
