Can I install a OS the slave drive?

I want to do a dual boot with Win 2K server and XP.
Also, I want to install the OS in separate HDs.
According to the Microsoft website, its best to install Win 2k first and the XP.
XP is going to be my primary OS so I want to install it on my master HD.
Can I install 2k in the first volume of my slave and then install XP on the first volume of my master drive?
I've got 2 volumes on each of my dynamic drives.

Thanks!

simply put.. yes you can.. unlike 9x windows 2K and XP can be installed on any partition on a system

1 possible problem i can see here is with the dynamic disks.. 2K server supports them but i don't think XP home/pro do.

you might want to research that.

Oh boy...

Checked again and:

"Dynamic volumes (and the data they contain) cannot be accessed by, or created on, computers running MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows XP Home Edition that are configured to dual-boot with Windows XP Professional or . If you want computers running these operating systems to be able to access the data, store the data on basic volumes"
