VMWare Workstation (and probably server) will also let you run a 64-bit virtual machine as a guest in 32-bit windows, and I don't think they require the hardware virtualization support VirtualBox requires.
I have noticed 64-bit performance is erratic (on 32-bit hosts) compared to 32-bit, with major slowdowns now and then that I never see with 32-bit guests. This is on a 4 GB quad-core q6600 at stock 2.4 GHz speed.
Get a 64 bit processor. This is 2010 lol.
No, you can't. You can try to install any soft, but Windows not allow to complete installation.
